Carrie Preston (Grace) is Michael Emerson's (Finch) real-life wife, but in the world of the Machine, the pair ditched their marriage vows well before 'until death do us part.' Although Grace hasn't appeared on POI since season 3, but she will pop up twice before season 5 comes to a close.

Speaking at the Television Critics Association winter press tour, Preston informed TV Insider that she will appear in the premiere ("B.S.O.D.") and at least one episode near the finale.

"There's something special about looking in the eyes of your real-life husband and at the same time, you're looking in the eyes of this character," Preston explained. "It's really fun to do that. He's really loved on that set; I have a bit of a wifely pride."

The CBS drama is currently in scheduling limbo. After being bumped from the fall lineup, the JJ Abrams series has also failed to secure a premiere date for the spring. Hopefully, viewers will get to dive back into the adventure before summer.

"We hope to get them on this spring; that's what we're targeting right now," CBS President Glenn Geller said, according to TV Insider.
