In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, watch at least one of these five films honoring the civil rights leader's legacy.

With civil unrest still rampant around America today, King's message of peace and equality continues to be important and timeless. So if you need a reminder of King's legacy or want to show your children an important part of American history, there are some movies online you can watch now.

Unfortunately, very few films have been made about King, but we found five that are currently available to stream on Amazon.

Selma (2014)
 

The only narrative film on this list, Selma is currently the definitive movie about King and his struggles. The film depicts King's journey to get equal voting rights for black Americans and the march from Selma to Montgomery, AL amid huge racial conflict in the South. The film was nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars last year and won the award for Best Original Song for "Glory," written by Common and John Legend. Watch Selma on Amazon here.

King: Man of Peace in a Time of War (2007)

In Remembrance of Martin (1986)
 

In Remembrance of Martin features interviews and footage of King, Julian Bond, Jimmy Carter, Dick Gregory, Jesse Jackson, Coretta Scott King, John Lewis, Desmond Tutu and Rosa Parks giving personal accounts of King as a man. Watch In Remembrance of Martin on Amazon here.

Martin Luther King Clip Reel, 1986 (2007)

The March (2013)
