Selena Gomez is currently on a whirlwind press tour to promote the release of her upcoming movie Spring Breakers. Gomez, 20, broke up with Justin Bieber in November last year after a two-year relationship. A new report from Media Takeout alleges that Gomez may have developed a very close relationship with one of her co-stars on the set of the movie while she was still dating Beiber a year ago.

An unidentified production assistant who worked on Spring Breakers said that Gomez often hung out in her movie trailer alone with rapper Gucci Mane!

Mane, 33, who plays a character name Archie, a criminal, reportedly spent hours in Gomez' trailer and often times alone with her. So much that people had to check in on them to make sure everything was ok.

"We thought it was [odd] that she was in there with [Gucci]," a source told Media Takeout. "One time [producers] sent security to make sure she was OK.

According to the source, the rapper didn't care that she was dating Bieber at the time.

 "It almost became a joke, [another employee] said [to Gucci] 'Watch out or I'm telling Justin [Bieber].' [Gucci] was like 'F*ck that lil n***a."

Selena plays college student Faith, while Gucci plays Archie, some sort of drug lord/criminal/thug.

Gucci Mane is known for the ice cream cone tattoo on his face and was once arrested for a Georgia murder. The murder charges against him, however, were later dropped.

Gomez has never spoke publicly about her breakup with Bieber, but the Boyfriend singer touched on the subject lightly in Billboard magazine cover story in January.

Springs Breakers arrives in theaters nationwide on March 22.
