AC Milan will square off against Inter Milan in what should be an exciting football showdown of the Serie A on Sunday.

AC Milan's strong rebound from a slow start to its Serie A campaign will face another considerable test at the San Siro.

Milan's initial start to the season was its worst in the team's history and left skipper Massimilliano Allegri barely hanging on to his job.

However, the coach has overseen a huge change in outcomes, as his side moved up to third-place with 13 games remaining and upset Barcelona 2-0 on Wednesday in the first leg of their Champions League last 16 tie.

"We can't get carried away, we have to recharge our batteries and get ready for Inter. It's another significant obstacle that we have to overcome," Allegri said on Wednesday, according to Caught Offside.

With the Juve club on top of the standings and holding a four-point cushion on Napoli, there surely will be a battle for the top finish.

Inter is currently sitting in fifth and have lost its momentum in recent weeks and will look to overtake a very confident AC Milan.
