Last Jan. 19, supermodel Gigi Hadid, showed off her cooking skills on an episode of MasterChef Celebrity Showdown. She prepared a mouthwatering burger that sure-fired her aim for the win while competing against her pal and fellow model, Devon Windsor.

She was quite emotional as tears rolled down her face while addressing about her family's continuing battle against Lyme disease. Gigi was really driven to win and raise money for a Lyme disease charity, a cause which hits very close to her heart.

"My mom, sister and brother are all affected by Lyme disease. Not enough people know what Lyme disease is. They don't know the dangers of being bitten by an insect. With $25,000, we can help with finding a cure. It can help so much. I'm the only one of my siblings, my mom and my family that hasn't been affected by Lyme disease," the teary-eyed Gigi explained on the show.
