Peter Baggenstos has the potential to win the next season of CBS's Survivor, but can he pull it off?

'Survivor' Host Jeff Probst Teases Special 'Super Idol' For Next Season

Peter is one of 18 new castaways set to play in Survivor: Kaoh Rong, which airs this spring on CBS. An ER doctor, Peter has been placed on the Brains tribe, as part of the twist of dividing up the castaways by personality type (Brawn and Beauty being the other tribes).

In his CBS bio, Peter says his personal claim to fame is being "multinational! My father is from Switzerland and mother is from Jamaica. I'm a Swiss citizen!"

As for why he tried out for Survivor, he said, "I am the most capable. I am smart, athletic and good with words. I want to challenge myself in a new and dynamic environment."

Considering his resume, his age (34) and his relative strength, Peter is well suited to excel in this game. But what does Peter have to say about his potential to win?

"I have an uncanny knack for getting a group of people to back me up," he said. I can immediately turn around and blindside them. I can have a pointless conversation with someone and make them feel important"

Peter looks to be one of the physically strongest players on his tribe, so it seems unlikely that he'll be voted out early, but anything can happen on Survivor. After all, Garrett Adelstein from Survivor: Cagayan appeared to be the strongest Brains tribe member but became the second person voted out of the game that season.
