Kristen Stewart is such a big fan of Jennifer Lawrence's that she reportedly went crazy when it was announced on Sunday that the Silver Linings Playbook actress won an Oscar for Best Actress in a Leading Role.

An eyewitness inside Los Angeles' Dolby Theatre told Us Weekly that when Lawrence's name was announced "Kristen was so happy and cheering for her!," adding, "She was going crazy in her seat."

A mutual friend of the Twilight and Hunger Games stars, both 22, said the actresses are "very friendly" and have spent time together. In November of 2012, Stewart spoke kindly of Lawrence and their friendship, saying one reason they get along so well is their association with big movie franchises.

"I was a lot younger than her when I first sort of entered this world of franchise land, and I don't know, I guess we sort of both went, 'Wow, this is so weird...This is really cool.' " Stewart said.

"I think people assume that actresses don't want to [be friends]," she added. "It was kind of a great feeling, to be honest. I was like, 'This is kind of just awesome.' "

Lawrence's role as Tiffany in Silver Linings Playbook made her a contender in the category of Best Actress that included fellow nominees Jessica Chastain, Emmanuelle Riva, Naomi Watts and Quvenzhané Wallis. She stumbled on her way to the podium to receive her Oscar but in her acceptance speech for her first ever Academy Award she calling the other woman in the category "magnificent" and "incredible" before thanking her film's entire cast, crew and her family.

Lawrence took home a Golden Globe earlier in the year for her performance in Silver Linings Playbook. Her first Oscar nomination was in 2011 in the category of Best Actress in a Leading Role for Winter's Bone.

Stewart presented an award at the Academy Awards with Daniel Radcliffe.
