Kate Upton appeared on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon on Monday, Feb. 25. The guest appearance was a promotional stop for her whirlwind tour to promote her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue 2013 cover.

Upton, 20, wowed Fallon when she came onstage on the late night talk show set in a cleavage-baring red short-sleeved dress by Steven McQueen with black Christian Louboutin high-heel shoes.

Upton told the former Saturday Night Live actor that she learned she had been selected for the cover for the second year in a row on Twitter.

"Someone tweeted it to me," Upton told Fallon. "I'm always last to know. Someone leaked it."

Upton made headlines after going topless beneath a polar jacket and bikini bottoms for the cover of the men's publication. The inside spread features the beauty in body paint and an array of bathing suits.

Upton discussed how uncomfortable the shoot was on NBC in another interview. She shared that she suffered from frostbite afterward.

"When I came back, I was like losing hearing and eyesight because my body was shutting down, it was working so hard to keep me warm," she told TODAY. "It was freezing. I'm from Florida so, it wasn't great for me," she added.

When Upton told Fallon about the experience shooting for the sexy editorial spread barely clothed in freezing temperatures, the late night talk show host suggested that the magazine should consider changing the location to outer space.

Upton laughed at Fallon's joke and replied: "Space...next year, I see it."
