Emily Maynard and Sean Lowe recently saw each other at an event and a source said they may be rekindling their romance, the latest in a string of reports about the reality stars sending text messages to each other and reportedly still have feelings for one another.

Lowe was Maynard's fourth-last pick in season nine of the ABC reality show The Bachelorette and he was sent home after hometown dates. She picked Jef Holm in the end but their relationship did not last and Maynard is once again single.

There are only two women left on The Bachelor, one of which viewers will see Lowe will get engaged to in the season finale, but a source told Star magazine the 29-year-old saw Maynard, 27, at a party recently and "Sean looked nervous to see her. You could see the old sparks were still there."

At the party, Lowe reportedly told Maynard about his engagement to one of the remaining Bachelor contestants but nevertheless, after the event the two kept in touch.

"She texted him immediately after leaving [the event] and said she regretted not having chosen him," the source said.

Hollywood Life reported in January that Maynard was also texting Lowe while he was on his journey to find love on The Bachelor. She reportedly tweeted Lowe well wishes before his series premiered on Jan. 7, along with other Bachelor alumni, and continued to text him after that as well.

"She texted me and said 'I'm in your corner,' " Lowe told Us Weekly. "She wished me the best. And vice versa!"

He also offered some advice for Maynard, saying she should date "a normal guy. She should not date a celebrity."

Their text messages might only be of a friendly nature but Maynard raved about Lowe in an interview with Wetpaint, adding how good looking he is and that he is "the best."

"I think Sean is the most perfect Bachelor," she said. "He is obviously such a babe, so hot, but he also has such a kind heart and great family, like, the best."

She said she has no regrets but talked about her own feelings that hinted otherwise when she said, "he seems really happy so no matter how I feel, he seems really happy."
