It appears Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani may be deciding on making their music relationship as public as their romantic one.

According to Hollywood Life, the hot couple is planning on taking a big step together career-wise, and are making plans to record a country music album together-the first that Shelton would record with anyone else and the first of the type in general for Stefani.

"The album will be a whole new outlook on music, mixing Blake's country voice and Gwen's pop expertise-it'll be an amazing crossover record," a source said. "Blake is just excited to be working with Gwen again. He can't wait to show her the country ropes! He's her No. 1 supporter."

And according to the source, Stefani is excited to try out country music, especially after she's already picked up on a lot of the customs of the country world and living from her new beau.

"[Gwen] says country music will be great to add to her repertoire because it'll increase her likability and sales," the source said. "Plus, Gwen thinks it'll make Blake's friends and family like her more."

If Shelton did decide to do a collaborative item with his new girlfriend, it could serve as  big blow to his ex-wife Miranda Lambert however. Lambert is also a country star, but during their relationship and marriage, she and Shelton never recorded an album together.

However, reports have claimed Lambert is trying to get some revenge on her ex of her own by having a baby with her new beau, Anderson East. Neither she, Shelton, Stefani or East have commented on the latest batches of rumors.
