It looks like Blue Bloods is getting a guest appearance from a famous celebrity.

Chatter On Danny's Frightening Message On 'Blue Bloods'

On Saturday, the CBS show's Twitter page posted a photo of Tom Selleck (Frank) and co-host of The View Whoopi Goldberg. The two smile in the snapshot where it was mentioned that Goldberg will guest-star as 'Speaker Regina Thomas.'

It wasn't mentioned what exactly would happen in the episode, but it definitely sounds like it'll be worth a watch. It was actually revealed from Bridget Moynahan (Erin) that it can be challenging to keep the storylines new so there always needs to be something creative to add in.

"I think the biggest challenge is trying to keep the work fresh," Moynahan previously told Phil Star. "And you know, being on an ensemble, every script is different so sometimes my character might work a little bit and then, sometimes, it might work a lot. So it goes to this ebb and flow of the material. And when you get the opportunity to have a juicier storyline on a certain episodes, you just really dive into it and really try to make the most of it. So, I think trying to go to work to keep it fresh, interesting, alive and new every time is probably the hardest thing."

Blue Bloods airs on Fridays at 10 p.m. ET on CBS.
