It looks like Mad Men fans have something to rejoice about. A new report hat suggests there might be a spin-off show in the works as star Christina Hendricks says that she absolutely misses playing her on-screen persona, Joan Harris.

Is Christina Hendricks Jealous Of Jon Hamm's Career?

According to Xpose on Monday, Hendricks made the revelation on the red carpet during the weekend's SAG Awards. She joked that she would love to star in a new spin-off series along with her former co-star Elisabeth Moss, who played Peggy Olsen on the show.

She said, "I miss her every day already. The nice thing is, people are still enjoying the show and watching it. So, daily, people come up and say something nice about the show, so I get to still have those memories.''

And as far as her idea for a spin-off show, Hendricks said that it would take both Joan and Peggy to the future.

She explained, "Joan and Peggy spin-off--we fight crime. But in the future. They get buried in a time capsule and they wake up in 2075."

The actress said that part of her own personality got written into Joan's character during the show's seven season run as well.

Hendricks further added, "After Matt got to know me better, he started incorporating aspects of my personality into Joan. At first she was rather intimidating and snarky, but then she got more sensitive and vulnerable, which is a lot more me infused in her.''
