The teaser for Archer ought to be pleasing for all the classic TV lovers who had a thing for cops.

'Archer' Executive Producer Reveals What He Thought About Season 6

On Monday, a promo for the seventh season of the FX animated series was released where it takes on a vibe related to Magnum P.I. With Archer's crime fighting skills and eye-catching mustache, he continues his action-packed yet eccentric life as a secret agent.

The new season will have plenty of helicopter flying where the man will be taking photos of what's down below. There will also be moments with Lana, and random glimpses of bulls and a colorful clown.

Some other big moments to expect are underwater knife fighting and major digging, which could mean a good haul of things. As disturbing as the plotline can be, the series still manages to have that quirky sense of humor.

Archer reaches a point where he's sitting at a table with a crowd around him as he seemingly shows them some sort of plan to fight a crime. He has a toy helicopter and car, and points out how they can win- pretty much just by shooting and such.

"And that's the long and short of it," he says. "Any questions?"

As rhetorical as this sounds, Pam raises her hand and asks something that gets everyone a little confused.
