The teen banshee is on her way to becoming a lean, mean, sonic fighting machine, and once she escapes from Eichen House, Lydia (Holland Roden) will have a leading role in the season's final four episodes. If you think Scott's (Tyler Posey) botched rescue plan will put the kibosh on one of the drama's brightest stars, you should think again.

"I definitely think that she plays a pinnacle role in helping save the town, if not one of THE leading roles," Roden teased, according to Entertainment Weekly.

The actress' ascertains jive with recent comments from series creator Jeff Davis.

"[Lydia is] a critical piece of the season," Davis told Entertainment Weekly. "At one point, one of the characters says something along the lines of, 'She might be the one who can save us all.' "

There is a reason Davis and Co. have dedicated so much of 5B to discovering Lydia's powers. She is far and away the most powerful member of Scott's pack, and when combined with her genius IQ, her supernatural skills make her quite a formidable opponent.
