Julia Sokolowski is one of the youngest Survivor castaways ever, but will her age hurt her in the game?

The New Season Of 'Survivor' Looks Like It'll Be Brutal From The Start

Julia is a 19-year-old college student fresh out of high school, but she is also in the new season of Survivor, which is subtitled Kaoh Rong - Brawn vs. Brains vs. Beauty. She has been played on the Beauty tribe, which features castaways of above average looks or charm.

As a young female, Julia likens herself to Natalie Tenerelli from Survivor: Redemption Island in her CBS bio, who notably fell in line as a loyal soldier to Boston Rob Mariano in the end. She also considers herself similar to past successful Survivor females Parvati Shallow, Jenna Morasca and Andrea Boehlke.

Does Jeff Probst Want To Quit 'Survivor' Anytime Soon?

While Julia may seem like an impressionable young girl on the surface, she is actually very accomplished for her age. She talks in her CBS bio about her trip to Tanzania. There, she "taught English to a class of 83 third graders and rebuilt and restored classrooms. I also hiked the base of Mount Kilimanjaro."

Julia thinks her social skills will be a major plus on the step to winning $1 million.

"I have amazing social skills, because I'm majoring in PR, so I'm studying strategic ways to persuade and manipulate people. I have strong instincts and I am very athletic. I've always been competitive and I am a hard working, smart girl."
