Jodie Sweetin has spoke out about the rumors that she's competing on the upcoming spring season of ABC's Dancing With the Stars.

Bindi Irwin's Brother Robert Ready To Compete On 'Dancing With the Stars'?

Sweetin, who famously played Stephanie Tanner on the classic sitcom Full House, acknowledged on Twitter the Us Weekly report stating she had signed on to Dancing With the Stars.

The actress' tweet doesn't necessarily confirm or deny that she has signed the dotted line, but it may be noteworthy that she hasn't outright rejected the possibility.

Was Mark Ballas Truly Surprised By His 'DWTS' Elimination?

Sweetin's Full House co-star Candace Cameron Bure (D.J. Tanner) competed on season 18 of Dancing With the Stars and did very well for herself. Matched up with partner Mark Ballas, Cameron Bure came in third place, defeating nine other celebrities.

So would Sweetin have similar success? Considering she is set to star in the upcoming Netflix sequel series Fuller House and has a huge fanbase from the original show as well, she would probably do well as long as she was an above average dancer.

Dancing With the Stars has not officially announced Sweetin as a competitor. The show's producers typically release the cast a few weeks before the premiere--either all at once or sporadically. So fans should probably expect official confirmations in late February and/or early March.

Dancing With the Stars season 22 begins Monday, March 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
