The stepbrother of Kim Kardashian and third son of Bruce Jenner is slated to be a cast member in the eighth installment of the hit reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

Brody Jenner made previous guest appearances on the show, which follows the Kardashian children, their half-sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner, and parents Bruce and Kris Jenner as they juggle business and fame. Brody said on Monday that he's looking forward to "getting to know (his) extended family a little better."

Season eight of Kardashians is set to premiere in June.

On her blog Khloe Kardashian expressed her excitement about Brody joining the show's cast and told fans that the family drama is only set to get bigger with the half-brother of Kylie and Kendall added to the mix.

"I'm always excited for each new season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, but I'm especially excited for this upcoming season, because you're going to be seeing a lot more of the Kardashian/Jenner clan!" she wrote. "My stepbrothers, Brody and Brandon, and Brandon's wife Leah are going to be on the show much more, which means an even closer look into the inner-workings of my crazy, wonderful family! Get ready people."

Kim confirmed that the ninth season of her family show will be her last and rumors swirled that it was her boyfriend Kanye West's decision.

"My boyfriend has taught me a lot about privacy. I'm ready to be a little less open about some things, like my relationships. I'm realizing everyone doesn't need to know everything. I'm shifting my priorities," she said in an interview with DuJour magazine. "I think there's always an evolution of, you know, what you want to do in life."

"It's all about finding things that really excite you and motivate you and spark you all over again," she added. "I'm realizing that no matter what, if you go into something with all these expectations and plans, once you're actually living it, it could be completely different."
