Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) are ready for high school, and just as Cory and Shawn were, the teens are teeny bit nervous about ninth grade. Filming for season 3 began on Tuesday, and the series' writers took the opportunity to reveal the BFFs' biggest fear.

While the Boy Meets World squad was worried about reinventing themselves in high school, Cory's offspring is more concerned with losing the friendships she forged in the halls of John Quincy Adams Middle School.

For all the fervor surrounding the series' love triangle, season 3 will be sure to focus on the characters' friendships - both primary and secondary alike.
"Relationships aside, BMW went to high school and a good show got better. Scripts in, same happening here," the writers teased. "More Zay, more Smackle, more Josh."
