A lot of us travel to other places through planes, somehow it is the most accessible and easy transportation available in every country. But if you’re making a list of the worst things that could happen during a flight, a hole being blown in the side of an airplane probably tops it.

Imagining such kind of scenario would suddenly happen to you above 10,000 feet will mostly make you want to switch riding trains or big boats, right? This is exactly what happened on a flight that was leaving Somalia's capital city of Mogadishu.

According to its website, initial news stories reported that at least one person was killed in the explosion, and two more were seriously injured. An official count of casualties, however, has still not been released by authorities.

What we do know is that the majority of the passengers escaped with no serious injuries.
Even scarier than the pictures is this video that was taken shortly after the explosion. It was recorded by Awale Kullane, the U.N. Ambassador of Somalia.
