She was devastated when she learned her sister was still in love with her husband, and despite choosing to cut all ties with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) permanently, Katie (Heather Tom) will still have a hard time grappling with the truth on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Will Deacon Help Quinn With Her Scheme?

Not only did she rescind the offer to have Brooke continue working at Spencer, but Katie also told her the two of them would never have a personal relationship again. But the memories of learning that, plus the initial betrayal in the past where Brooke and Bill (Don Diamont) became a couple, have still been haunting her.

Now, as she and Bill continue hashing things out, she could take the blame for the whole situation by remembering how she insisted on bringing Brooke into the company, despite fully knowing it could dredge up painful memories.

Quinn Fills In Some Blanks For Liam

"Everyone could see that inviting Brooke to work with us was crazy," she says in a preview clip for the Monday, Feb. 8 episode. "I could see it in people's eyes when I suggested it, I could see it in your eyes."

However, what Katie still hasn't seen in her husband's eyes is that he too has betrayed her this time around. After Brooke's initial confession, Bill began revisiting the feelings he had for her, and even fantasized about reuniting with her several times. However, Brooke took the fall for him, and as a result, Katie hasn't yet turned her back on him as well.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
