According a new report, the Buffalo Bills running back and his friend were allegedly involved in a fight with three police officers at the Recess Lounge in the wee hours of Sunday morning, which left two of the men hospitalized.

McCoy and former NFL player Curtis Brinkley got into "a dispute over the purchase of champagne," and "[Brinkley] grabbed the bottle," which began their reported fight with the off-duty police officers, ESPN reported on Monday.

According to ESPN, the Recess Lounge was equipped with surveillance cameras, but at the time of the alleged incident involving McCoy, they were not working.

While it remains unknown whether or not McCoy or Brinkley were injured, ESPN claimed one of the officers suffered a possible skull fracture, and a second suffered a "broken nose, broken rib, an eye laceration and a sprained thumb."

In a second report by SB Nation, it was noted that two other men were believed to have been involved in the altercation, but at this point, they have not been identified.

Following reports, the Buffalo Bills offered the following statement:

McCoy is currently part of a police investigation, but has yet to be arrested for any crime.
