Supernatural's Samulet is missing in action, but the fandom has yet to give up hope that the original necklace will surface once more.

Worn around Dean's (Jensen Ackles) neck for nearly six seasons, the amulet was unceremoniously deep-sixed in "Dark Side of the Moon." A multi-layered object hailed more for its importance to the Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean than its supernatural properties, the necklace's disappearance dealt a crushing blow to both the fandom and the Winchesters brothers.

Ever since 2010, fans have been clamoring for the amulets return. Considering the charm is rumored to glow hot in God's presence, season 11 would be an ideal time for Sam to reveal whether or not he rescued it from the hotel trash. After the series' fake Samulet (from "Fan Fiction") made a cameo in "Into The Mystic," co-executive producer Jim Michaels addressed the issue on Twitter.

"If, and or when, the time is right, I agree with you that it should be in a significant and meaningful way," Michaels told fans.

Unfortunately, Michaels steered clear of answering that all-important question - does Sammy even have it?

After receiving a glimpse inside Sam's memory box on Jan. 27, there are those who believe one of the faux necklace wasn't the only Samulet Sam had hidden. A leather cord and a golden object piqued fans' interest as well.

While the amulet is MIA in the present day, perhaps Bobby's episode 16 flashbacks will see it hanging around Dean's neck once more.
