The plan was to get the Santori family out of Newman, but Noah's (Robert Adamson) involvement in Billy's (Jason Thompson) accident has complicated things--and now, he will make things even tougher when he sides with Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) over his family on The Young and the Restless.

Adam (Justin Hartley) thinks he took care of the situation, which included Luca holding the leverage of Noah's accident over the Newmans to keep his family in the fold, by ordering Noah to leave the country. However, Victor (Eric Braedan) won't be impressed with the tactic--and will likely bring a new one of his own into the mix.

"I have Noah on a plane, out of the country," Adam says in a preview clip for the Tuesday, Feb. 9 episode. "He leaves tomorrow."

"Really?" Victor replies. "What good will that do?"

What neither man realizes however is that Noah isn't following through with the plan, because he genuinely does want to take his grandfather down--and is making a plan of his own that lets him side with Luca--and work against the family he grew up in.

However, he will still need to work to convince Luca that he won't betray him the way that Adam did--and once he succeeds, a powerful new alliance will be born.

"Like it or not Luca, you're the only person I can work with on the inside," Noah says in the clip.

The Young and the Restless airs Monday-Friday at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
