Is Bobby Shmurda Staying Behind Bars For Another Seven Years?

On Tuesday, XXL pointed out that the rapper was supposed to have his trial on February 22. But it has now been moved to May 11 although a specific reason wasn't given.

Shmurda was arrested in December 2014 on drug and gun charges and he will reportedly have a trial group with others allegedly involved in the case.

In a previous interview with Hot 97's Ebro In the Morning, Shmurda mentioned that there is no way his bail amount at $2 million would be reduced at that point.

"They want a hundred percent," he said. "They don't want 25 percent, they don't want 40, they don't want 50. They want the whole two million dollars. We have more than the ten percent, it's the collateral. They want two million dollars collateral."

The rapper added that he's aware of rumors that can be spread about him. But it seems like all of it is just gossip that no one should pay attention to.

"I'm always gonna be good," Shmurda said. "I heard a bunch of rumors about stuff happening to me, ain't nobody laid a finger on me yet. I get love from everywhere. Of course I got my haters, but what they say?' You ain't got no haters, you ain't poppin.' You know how that s--t go."
