Will Smith has gotten really candid about his youngest son, Jaden Smith, being spotted wearing women’s clothing.

Jada Pinkett Responds To ‘The Fresh Prince’ Star ‘Aunt Viv’ For Comments About Oscars Boycott

Jaden, who was actually just tapped as the face of one of Louis Vuitton’s women’s clothing lines, is no stranger to wearing a skirt or dress here and there ever since he was spotted wearing a prom-like dress a few years ago.

He and sister Willow Smith have always been extremely creative with their style choices, thanks to their parents, Will and actress Jada Pinkett Smith, giving them the freedom to do so.

But now Will has told BBC Radio 1xtra that they possibly should have put a limit on it.

“That may have been a mistake, we may have gone too far,” he said of letting his children express themselves in any way they wanted to. “There’s a really powerful internal quality as an artist that as parents we encourage. You gotta get out on the edge, you have to try things, you have to be comfortable with doing things people don’t agree with and comfortable doing things that you can fail.”

As for Jaden, he added that his son’s “100 % fearless” attitude can be frightening at times.

“He will do anything.”

He went on to say, “But he is completely willing to live and die by his open artistic decisions and doesn’t concern himself with what people think.”

Will and Jada also made headlines themselves recently after they decided to boycott this year’s Oscar awards because of the lack of diversity in nominees.
