Soon, however, the Clave will decide that the matriarch's rule isn't enough to keep Clary's (Katherine McNamara) friends in line. When "Bad Blood" rolls around, a representative will be sent to check up on the matter. Enter the Inquisitor.

"With word of Alec, Jace and Isabelle's "extracurricular activities" with Clary reaching The Clave, a convoy is sent to observe the Lightwoods running the New York Institute. Once The Clave representative arrives, it is very clear how much trouble the Lightwoods are in," Freeform teased. "Meanwhile, Clary is faced with a devastating decision."

Set to air on March 1, "Bad Blood" will become the eighth episode of season 1.
