NBA star LeBron James and his longtime girlfriend Savannah Brinson officially set their wedding date and according to a document obtained by TMZ, the couple will wed sometime between Sept. 13 and Sept. 15.

The invite, obtained by the gossip website, includes the title "Save The Date" consisting of information that instructed guests to keep the three days open for the celebration set to take place in San Diego, Calif.

The "Save the Date" invite also included a funny caricature of James, Brinson and their two children - LeBron James Jr. and Bryce Maximus James -each dressed in wedding outfits.

The couple currently lives in Coconut Grove, a Miami suburb. LeBron proposed to Brinson at a New Year's party in 2012 where he was also celebrating his 27th birthday.

When Brinson missed several Miami Heat events that were attended by girlfriends and wives, rumors swirled that the couple had split.

However, Brinson attended the Women of Tomorrow Gala on March 2 in downtown Miami as guest of donor and Heat fan Eileen Youtie. She slammed breakup rumors in a recent interview with Gossip Extra: "Some people have nothing better to do than starting rumors. It's not because we're not together 24/7 that we're having problems."

When asked if the wedding was in motion, she replied, "Yes, we are definitely getting married, but I'm not telling you when or where!"

LeBron has also having a good streak on the basketball court. He helped Miami Heat to a 97-96 win against the Orlando Magic on Wednesday night, extending their franchise-record winning streak to 16 games.
