Tom Schwartz may be in the dog house with Katie Maloney on next week's episode of Vanderpump Rules.

'Vanderpump Rules' Couple FINALLY Gets Engaged

During a new sneak peek, Schwartz is confronted by Lisa Vanderpump about quitting his position with her Sangria line, and in response, he reveals why.

"I feel like s**t about this to be honest. However, the reason I backed out I thought to myself, hypothetically, if I did book a job, but also I had a date booked with Pandora and Jason, I would chose the job," Schwartz explained of his decision, admitting his modeling career would come first.

"You are now entering a phase of your life where you've asked Katie to marry you, so you've got to follow through with the rest of your life with commitment," Vanderpump explains.

While Maloney can't be too thrilled with the news of Schwartz's decision, especially with their wedding coming soon, the couple appear to be doing just fine at this point, and during a new interview, Maloney's friend and co-star, Ariana Madix, revealed they were searching for the perfect wedding date.

“I know that they’re looking at dates, but I don’t think they have an official date. I think they wanted to do something maybe in the fall, but I don’t think they have anything set in stone,” Madix told In Touch Weekly last week
