The 100's Bellamy Blake is ditching his white knight role for walk a the dark side.

Arkadia's anti-grounder sentiment reached a fever pitch on Thursday night. Kane went to drastic lengths to unite the Sky People with the grounders, but all his efforts were for naught. Pike is the new chancellor, and with Bellamy by his side, the Farm Station warrior is ready to spill some blood.

There are undoubtedly fans that were wholly shocked by Bellamy's recent decisions. To help you get in the character's head, showrunner Jason Rothenberg broke down Bell's reasoning in the wake of "Watch the Thrones."

"In season one, Bellamy was out for himself and doing things to save his own ass. In season three, he's doing what he thinks is right for his people," Rothenberg explained to The Hollywood Reporter. "He's a soldier for a cause but he's not acting selfishly. Hopefully there's a little difference."

Although Bellamy thinks he is making the right decision - and at this point we can't definitely say that he's not - his partnership with Pike will take him down a dangerous road.

"It's still dark; it's still going to be hard for people because Bellamy in season two really became a shinning, pure good guy," Rothenberg teased. "He was too good on some level. We wanted to take him back to a darker, morally more complicated place and still hopefully love him."

Are you ticked off at Bellamy, or can you see where he's coming from?
