Pretty Little Liars' Mona Vanderwaal is playing her cards close to the vest.

Five years have gone by, but the original A is still butting heads with the Liars. This time, however, the cunning manipulator has entered the political arena. No one's motives are ever clear in Rosewood, however, and Mona (Janel Parrish) could be angling for more than a big election win.

"It's always a little unclear," Parrish said of Mona's motives, according to Vulture. "Mona is only on her own side. As an actress, I'm never told what her motives are - the showrunners keep it a secret. I'm constantly playing Mona like she knows something that other people don't know."

Luckily for fans, "Do Not Disturb" won't be Mona's only season 6B appearance. There's only four episodes left, but you can rest assured Mona will be back to spar Spencer (Troian Bellisario) at least once more.

"Yes, I'll be back. With a few more uncomfortable run-ins," Parrish teased. "More confrontations with Spencer. You know how Mona is, she always interjects herself when she's not wanted."
