After Stewart scored the only touchdown for the Panthers in Sunday's Super Bowl, he performed what looked like the hand jive featured in Grease. Later in the week, Stewart posted the video of him doing this on his own Instagram page, with a caption that indicated his interest in DWTS.

"#handjive holla at me dancing with the stars! #nfl #panthers," he wrote.

As for how well Stewart would do on Dancing With the Stars, the results of past NFL players have been all over the place, but trending towards good.

The dance competition has recruited numerous NFL players to the dance floor over the years, to varying levels of success. Players like Emmitt Smith, Hines Ward and Donald Driver have all won the show, while Jerry Rice, Warren Sapp and Jason Taylor have made the finals. Others have not had such success, like Keyshawn Johnson and Michael Sam.

So will Dancing With the Stars pick Stewart for the next season? That remains to be seen, as the show rarely reveals cast information before the final weeks leading up to the premiere.

Dancing With the Stars season 22 premieres Monday, March 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
