How do the Kardashians feel about their depiction in FX's American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson?

Cuba Gooding Jr. Admits He Was Initially 'Wrong' About O.J. Simpson

Young versions of Kim, Khloe, Kourtney and Rob Kardashian have showed up sporadically in the first two episodes of The People v. O.J. Simpson. But apparently they do not love how they were portrayed in the second episode.

The scene in episode 2 where the four kids watch their father, Robert Kardashian (David Schwimmer) on TV and cheer for him "never happened," a source told E! News recently. The scene features the four kids marveling at their father's appearance on TV and proceeding to chant "Kardashian!" over and over again.

How To Watch 'American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson' Without A TV

While a TMZ report does state that the sisters remember watching Robert on TV reading the letter written by O.J. Simpson, they also say that the cheering never occurred.

The inclusion of the Kardashian kids has been a controversial, polarizing element of The People v. O.J. Simpson from the start. However, executive producers Larry Karaszewski and Scott Alexander recently talked to Vulture about the kids only being onscreen for about five minutes of the 10-hour miniseries.

"We do know that Shapiro pushed him in front of the TV cameras to read the suicide note that day, which was not something he was comfortable with," Alexander explained. "And we do know, hilariously, that the reporters afterwards said, 'What's your name? How do you spell it?' It's an unusual Armenian name, and he had to spell it out for them. We assume his four kids are all watching TV. They're going to see their dad on TV and they're going to be excited, like any kids would be."

American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
