Sidibe returned to play voodoo witch Queenie in American Horror Story: Hotel, a character she previously played in Coven. Unfortunately, she met a very sad fate in the one episode she was in the season.

The actress also had a role in Freak Show as Regina Ross, the highly educated daughter of Dora (Patti LaBelle), the housekeeper to Gloria Mott (Frances Conroy). There too she suffered an unfortunate fate.

Sidibe is also part of the main cast of Fox's Empire, playing Lucious' (Terrence Howard) assistant Becky. As such, it may be difficult for her to return in any sort of major role to American Horror Story.

The 32-year-old burst onto the scene in 2009 with her acting debut in Precious: Based on the Novel "Push" by Sapphire. Playing the titular character, Sidibe was nominated for multiple awards, including an Oscar, a Golden Globe, a SAG Award and a BAFTA. Since then she has appeared in movies and TV shows like The Big C, Tower Heist, White Bird in a Blizzard and Difficult People.
