With the GOP presidential race continuing to whittle down, the remaining major candidates will be in the debate tonight in South Carolina.

With Gov. Chris Christie, businesswoman Carly Fiorina and Gov. Jim Gilmore having suspended their campaigns now, the GOP presidential race is down to six contenders.

The remaining candidates include former Gov. Jeb Bush, neurosurgeon Ben Carson, Sen. Ted Cruz, Gov. John Kasich, Sen. Marco Rubio and businessman Donald Trump.

Six out of the seven major contenders on Friday qualified for the GOP Debate in South Carolina tonight. Only Gilmore did not qualify considering he did not place in the top 5 in the New Hampshire primary, the top 3 of the Iowa caucuses or average in the top 5 of national or South Carolina polls. Gilmore has now suspended his campaign.

The GOP debate is being held at the Peace Center in Greensville, S.C. and moderated by Face the Nation host John Dickerson.

The GOP Debate in South Carolina airs tonight at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
