The Fifty Shades of Grey casting process continues to ignite chatter. One of the names that frequently comes up as a potential suitor for the role of Anastasia Steele is Harry Potter's Emma Watson.

Due to the increasing risks the 22-year-old easy on the eyes Brit has began to take in her acting career, she's become a top contender for the part of the shy, college graduate.

Watson had starred in the independent hit The Perks of Being A Wallflower where she performed a strip tease during a Rocky Horror Picture Show inspired scene that was shot, but recently upped the ante with her sexy antics in her latest film, which is titled Bling Ring.

The respective flick is a true story that was inspired by actual events where a group of fame-obsessed teenagers used the Internet to track the whereabouts of celebrities so that they can rob their homes.

In late 2012, Watson actually told Entertainmentwise, that she wouldn't be opposed to nudity under the right cinematic circumstances.

"I've been saying since I was 16 that if it's the right role and important for the character development and the story, then of course I'll do it."

The actress also spoke to the Fan Carpet saying she appreciated the Fifty Shades consideration, but was confused on just how her attachment to the Anastasia character came about.

"It's flattering in the sense that people are excited about what I'm going to do in the future, but I just don't know where this thing has come from at all," she said.

The Fifty Shades of Grey premise revolves around Steele, who gets herself involved in a dominant and submissive sexual relationship with the S&M-crazed billionaire Christian Grey. Through a mutual "agreement," the two delve into the world of bondage and masochism.

Screenwriter Kelly Marcel, who is in the midst of penning the film script, recently stated that the movie would be staying true to the book with lots of sex and raunchiness, as the producers are shooting for an NC-17 rating, according to a previous write-up in Style Magazine.

Although the producers have yet to sign on a director to the franchise, the film is now slated for its big screen release in the summer of 2014.
