After news spread that Hall of Famer tennis champ Jennifer Capriati was the target of an arrest warrant, Capriati's lawyer denied the allegations on Friday.

According to Gossip Extra, Capriati, 36, was sought by the North Palm Beach Police Department and that she could be charged with a Valentine's Day incident.

Capriati allegedly went to a gym and struck her ex boyfriend's chest with her fist several times.

A yoga instructor intervened, according to the site, and Capriati's ex, Ivan Brannan, 28, called 911. Brannan is a former Florida State golfer.

Capriati's lawyer released this statement TMZ, "There is no arrest warrant for Jennifer Capriati. The case between Ms. Capriati and Mr. Ivan Brannan has not yet been assigned in Palm Beach County and has not been reviewed. The current facts being circulated by Mr. Brannan are an over exaggeration and the police report is one-sided in Mr. Brannan's favor since they failed to get Ms. Capriati's side of the story."

Capriati has been arrested in the past for shoplifting and possession of marijuana, according to Fox Sports.

Capriati made her professional debut when she was 13 in the Virginia Slims tournament in Boca Raton, playing and beating Mary Lou Daniels.

Capriati has won two Australian Opens and one French Open.
