She wanted to have more responsibility within the family company and was given the task of keeping her eyes on Natalie (Mara McCaffray), but Summer's (Hunter King) involvement with the Internet security deal could begin causing more problems for her on The Young and the Restless.

Billy Plans A Romantic Surprise For Victoria

Victor (Eric Braeden) ordered her to take Natalie on as a roommate so she could keep her eyes on her, and so far things have been going well, despite her mother, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) objecting to the situation. But now, her mother's disapproval may not be the only thing she'll need to worry about.

Phyllis is of course not happy about Summer's involvement in the project now because of her secretly being the one who is controlling Natalie, and is set to benefit from the project. However, her secret plans can't be revealed to her daughter--and she will vent her frustration that Summer is now involved to Jack (Peter Bergman) whole at the Valentine's Day party.

Phyllis and Billy Alter Their Plans

"I don't want her to be pulled into his web," she says in a preview clip for the Tuesday, February 16 episode.

"She's as smart as it gets," Jack reassures her.

Meanwhile, Summer will also find herself dangerously close to having even more problems after Kyle was unable to make it back to Genoa City from New York for the holiday, especially after Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) shows up at her door with champagne.

"Surprise," he says in the clip.

Now, after he potentially gets her drunk off of the champagne, she may accidentally spill the truth about the security deal--and could jeopardize more of Newman's future as a result.

The Young and the Restless airs Monday-Friday at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
