'Agents Of SHIELD' Season 3: First Look At Slingshot! Elena Rodriguez's Debut Episode Confirmed [VIDEO]
You won't have to wait long to meet Agents of SHIELD's first speedster.
Elena Rodriguez (Natalia Cordova-Buckley), aka Slingshot, will make her debut in the midseason premiere. We previously wondered if the episode's title, "Bouncing Back," could have something to do with the Inhuman's boomerang need to return to her starting point when she uses her powers, and a brand new photo has confirmed our suspicions.
Described as a "tough, street-wise Colombian woman," Daisy's (Chloe Bennet) potential recruit will be packing during the March 8 episode. We don't know who Elena is pointing her weapon at, but it could conceivably be anyone from Hydra to SHIELD. Inhumans are on both agencies' most wanted lists, and not everyone wants their lives turned upside down by their accidental terrigenesis.

"In the aftermath of his trip to Maveth, Coulson is more determined than ever to get to Gideon Malick and put an end to Hydra once and for all," Entertainment Weekly said of the episode. "Daisy and the team encounter more Inhumans who have powers like they've never seen before, but will they be friends or enemies of S.H.I.E.L.D.?"
