'Finding Carter' Petition Keeps Gaining Signatures Amid Cancellation

As of Wednesday, the online petition that gives hope for a renewal, has reached 5,000 signatures. In less than a week, about 1,000 signatures were added.

Even though fans are showing their dedication on having the show come back for a third season, this petition doesn't guarantee that happening. It might bring attention, but it doesn't necessarily mean anything too positive.

Could 'Finding Carter' Wind Up On Netflix?

As of now, all fans can do is keep signing and showing their enthusiasm on how much they would love the series to be renewed.

Series creator Emily Silver took to Twitter earlier this month to answer a fan's question about the show possibly coming to Netflix. It doesn't seem too likely right now, but Silver said she'd try to let it happen if that opportunity ever arrives.

Another fan thanked Silver for creating the show in the first place, something she was more than happy to be a part of. Even though there was a cancellation, she said she hopes the characters will "live on in fans'."

Unfortunately, there wasn't a lot of closure for the series since Max was taken to jail for the murder of Jared with no word on how this will affect everyone.
