Angela Raiola's (lovingly known as Big Ang) tragic passing was a difficult one take to take in for family, close ones and fans of the VH1 Mob Wives star. But now her sister has spoken out to reassure that she was in a good place just before she lost her battle to cancer Thursday morning.

Big Ang’s ‘Mob Wives’ Co-Stars Respond To Her Death

“She was so at peace with death,” Janine Detoure told US Weekly in a statement just hours after the reality star passed. “She was OK with it. She said she didn’t want to live being on the medicine, doing all that. She didn’t want to do that. And she said, ‘If it’s my time, it’s my time, just tell me. I want to spend my time with the grandchildren and with my family.’ She wanted to be home and all that.”

Big Ang’s latest health scare came when she was admitted to the hospital on Monday. Detoure said that she spoke with Big Ang the next day and gave her a special message.

Big Ang Dies At 55 After Cancer Battle

“Even when I called there on Tuesday, I said ‘Put the phone by her ear, I want to tell her something.' And I said, ‘You better be good! You better be good!'...And she said to me, ‘I wanna come home.’ And those were the last words I heard.”

Big Ang was diagnosed with throat cancer in March of last year. Doctors compared her tumor to the size of a lemon. She underwent two surgeries and thought she was on her way to a full recovery. But she was then told she had stage IV lung and brain cancer. She will truly be missed.
