Taylor Swift visited a young cancer patient in Omaha, Nebraska while on tour for the weekend.

Lauren Hacker has acute myelocytic leukemia, and her friends created a video to Swift's "You Belong With Me" as a plead to Swift to visit the young girl during her visit.

Swift was impressed with the video, and with help from Hacker's parents, Swift was able to visit the girl. At about 1pm on Saturday, she stopped by Omaha's Children's Hospital and Medical Center to meet Hacker, according to CTV News. She spent almost an hour with Hacker and her family playing music, sharing stories, and handing out gifts to the girl and her family.

"Taylor got out a bag of goodies for Lauren and provided autographs on notebooks, photographs, and guitar picks," Hacker's father Phil wrote on his blog. He wrote that it is an experience for Lauren to remember for years to come.

This is not the first time Swift answered to an online campaign asking her to visit a sick patient. Last year, Taylor visited New Jersey teen Kevin McGuire. She had planned to bring him to the Academy of Country Music Awards ceremony in Las Vegas, although McGuire was not well enough to attend.

Swift's Red Tour will begin on Wednesday in Omaha with "The A-Team" singer Ed Sheeran as the opening act.
