Actress Michelle Williams is being accused of racism over her cover on AnOther Magazine in which she appears to be dressed like a Native American.

In the cover, the actress is wearing jeans, a flannel shirt and large coat, and her hair is parted down the middle in two thick braids with two visible feathers.

Refinery29 commented on the cover and Williams' appearance explaining that the tagline "there's no place like home," correlates with "the fact that thousands of Native Americans were forcefully ousted from their homes." The tagline references Williams' role in the Oz The Great and Powerful.

The publication also added, "The photo is in black-and-white, so you can't tell for sure if they've altered her normally fair skin, but there is some definite contouring around the nose and the cheekbones that not only makes her look nearly unrecognizable, but also appears to mimic the stark relief of facial features often seen in early portraits of Native American women."

Recent accusations of racism toward Native Americans also happened last year when model Karlie Kloss wore a feathered headdress during the Victoria's Secret fashion show.

No Doubt also had to pull a music video in November 2012 for the song "Looking Hot" because it depicted Gewn Stefani in feathered headpieces and "Wild West" style fighting between Native Americans and cowboys.
