Erica Mena and Bow Wow’s breakup went to an even lower point after the reality star accused her now ex-fiancee of being physically abusive. Now she’s opening up about it and standing by her claims in her first interview since all of the drama last year.

Hip Hollywood caught up with Mena during the All Def Movie Awards Thursday. And she didn’t hold back when speaking on her former boo.

“Those allegations weren’t just falsely thrown out there. The way I did it, I regret it. The truth is the truth. It never hurt nobody….Never hurt me.”

She added that she could speak about it in more detail in the future.

She also said she regrets their spat that played out on social media in front of millions of fans.

“I wish it didn’t happen. But you know, two people that are kind of very emotional, obviously we were going through it at the time. We didn’t take a moment to kind of think things through before we reacted. I know on my end I kind of wish I never said anything. But it is what it is.”

As for how she feels right now about the rapper turned actor, Mena said she doesn’t have any ill thoughts on his future.

“Now I wish him the very best. It was a great ride while it lasted…Not everything works. We didn’t, but everything falls into place. Everything happens for a reason. I learned so much in that relationship. I think moving forward I’m gonna do things a lot differently.”
