AMC's The Walking Dead is beginning to grow in intensity as both the Governor (David Morrissey) and Rick (Andrew Lincoln) get ready to go to war.

Due to her dynamic of having been part of both the town of Woodbury and prison group, Andrea (Laurie Holden) will undoubtedly be playing a crucial role in the battle of the two respective leaders in the series.

While Andrea has shown that she has nothing but good intentions, she hasn't exactly done the prison group any huge favors in terms of taking out the Governor.

Many of the show's loyalists have criticized Andrea throughout the course of season three due to her abandonment of Michonne (Danai Gurira), who had literally saved her life at the end of the second season.

While Andrea clearly had strong romantic feelings for the Governor when she first met him, they aren't there so much anymore.

Killing the Governor aside, she appears to be extremely indecisive on how to stop his rage toward Rick and the prison.

TVLine reported that this Sunday's episode, which is titled Prey, will peel back the onion on Andrea and Michonne's relationship, giving audiences to delve deeper into the time they'd spent together on the road and just how strong their friendship was.

Andrea will also find herself in an all too familiar spot alongside the Governor, where she'll use a weapon with the intent to actually follow through on killing him. She gets the motivation to do so after finding out that he doesn't plan on making peace with Rick and the group.

According to the TV Guide, Sunday's installment will reveal a setting that's taken straight out of The Walking Dead comic series.

The Walking Dead is set to air Prey on Sunday, March 17 at 9 p.m. on the AMC network.  A sneak peak of the episode can be viewed below.
