Kim Kardashian Haircut, Got Bangs: Joined Sister Kourtney, LeAnn Rimes & Michelle Obama (PHOTOS)

Kim Kardashian joined her sister Kourtney Kardashian and chopped off her locks by getting new bangs.

"I did it! Blunt bangs!!! Thanks @philipwolffhair," Kim wrote to her followers on Twitter and Instagram Wednesday.

Kim had been publicly debating in social media for several weeks if she should get a haircut. Last month, she asked her followers whether they think she should get bangs or not.

"Should I cut more blunt bangs?" Kim wrote on Feb. 27, with a series of old photos of herself with bangs. She also wrote the captions: "More bangs pix" and "Bangin' baby."

Kim first let it slip early on Wednesday that she might cut her hair by tweeting, "Bangs or no??!?!?!" and then later, "Decisions decisions..." A few hours later she posted a picture of her new look with the caption: "I did it! Blunt bangs!!! Thanks @philipwolffhair."

Kim previously posted pictures of herself with bangs on Dec. 18 but after the photos went viral on Twitter, she admitted online that she did not actually get a new haircut. In her blog titled The Truth about My Bangs, the reality star wrote, "I saw a few of you tweeting me about my bangs!! The bangs are fake! Just clip ons! I had a fun Cosmo cover shoot yesterday and chris mcmillan clipped those on!" 

Kim joined a growing list of celebrities that have gotten bangs recently. Her sister, Kourtney, revealed her new bangs on March 6; first lady Michelle Obama got bangs to compliment her new bob haircut on her Jan. 17 birthday and debuted the look on her Twitter account @FLOTUS, and country singer LeAnn Rimes showed off her bangs on Feb. 9 on the same social media site.
