When Sean Lowe proposed to new fiancée Catherine Giudice during the Monday night finale of The Bachelor, they announced they would get married on camera for ABC to air as a television special.

Details about the big day are so far scarce but Lowe, 29, spoke to Us Weekly on Tuesday and said one person for sure will not be invited to his wedding: the woman who sent him home on national TV during the latest season of The Bachelorette, Emily Maynard.

Lowe told the publication Maynard, who is currently single, will not earn an invitation to his wedding after starring in her own season of the reality TV franchise.

"Probably not," Lowe said. "You know, I think the world of Emily, and I want nothing but good things for her. But I don't know if it would be the most appropriate thing to have her at the wedding."

Moments after viewers saw Lowe propose to Giudice, 26, on Monday night, the couple told Chris Harrison on the After the Final Rose special that they are ready to get married.

"Soon," Giudice said. "I don't see why there would be any waiting period. I want to be his wife."

"I want to spend the rest of my life with her. I can't wait to have the wedding," Lowe added. "If it were up to me I'd go to the courthouse and get it done."

Lowe said they want to get married on TV "since our relationship started and it was developed and cultivated on a TV show."

"A marriage follows a proposal," the Texas native said. "We don't have a date yet, but we have decided that we think it will be cool...we'll have our wedding on a TV show. And ABC will cover the wedding."

Lowe chose Giudice over Lindsay Yenter in The Bachelor finale.
