The Big Bang Theory will make its highly anticipated return on Thursday with a brand new installment, titled The Closet Reconfiguration.

After a fairly slow start to season six, the popular series has clearly taken off in the drama department. In the very last installment, fans finally got to witness Raj (Kunal Nayyar) come through in the romance department with Lucy (Kate Micucci). While Micucci "doesn't know what the plan is" for her Lucy role, she initially wasn't anticipating a return at all after her character had left Raj in a coffee shop a few episodes back, according to The Latin Times.

The very next installment of the show, which is the 19th of the season, will feature Penny and Leonard putting together a semi-formal cocktail party. The bash will not turn out as they had originally hoped though since Howard will get a letter from his dad, whom he hasn't seen in 20 years. This will put him in a personal bind, as he'll have to decide whether or not to meet him.

In an interview conducted with USA Today that was released on March 7, Jim Parsons, who plays the part of Sheldon, said that he could foresee the program going to a 10th season.

"I don't say it to give me a pat on the back. I am just logical about it," he added.

Kaley Cuoco dished to Carter recently about her Penny character's relationship with Leonard (Johnny Galecki), saying, "We could be broken up next week. It's always been so up in the air. It's very true to life."

The Big Bang Theory will make its return on Thursday at 8 p.m. EST on CBS. The trailer for The Closet Reconfiguration can be viewed below.
