The petition to bring back Finding Carter has reached a new goal.

Is There Any Hope Left For 'Finding Carter?'

As of Monday, the petition to help renew the former MTV drama, has reached more than 6,000 signatures. While this is good news that people are still working on the possibility of bringing the show back, the bad news is that it took a couple weeks to gain this many numbers. Earlier this month, there were 5,000 signatures so it's a slow process at this point.

It was announced last month that the series was canceled after two seasons. That was unfortunate since the show didn't exactly receive the closure it deserved especially with what would've happened to Max following Jared's murder.

'Finding Carter' Petition Continues To Gain Signatures

In an interview with TV Insider, Alex Saxon (Max) opened up on what his character's time in jail could mean for his future- assuming he was going to have one. It turned out that more storylines could've been added in for this.

"I think there's a lot to be explored about what would happen if Max went to jail and went where his dad has spent much of Max's life; how he would regress and how he would change," Saxon said. "I'd like to think part of why Max is so empathetic to everybody around him and conscious of taking care of people and not hurting anybody is because he knows the evil, the darkness, that's out there."
