USA vs Dominican Republic Live Stream: Watch World Baseball Classic 2013 Online At 7PM ET
As many fans anticipated, the United States and the Dominican Republican will face off against each other in the World Baseball Classic Semifinals on Thursday night at Marlins Park.
The U.S. advanced to the qualifying phase of the round with a 7-1 victory over Puerto Rico, which was let by a 5 runs batted in performance off the bat of New York Mets 3B David Wright, who has been coined "Captain America."
The Dominican Republic had fight a little bit more to earn their victory against team Italy. The Italians took a 4-0 lead in the first inning of the game, but weren't able to add any additional run support before the Dominicans rallied back to obtain a 5-4 win.
At this point, both of the countries are favored contenders to win the entire tournament, along with Japan, which has already notched a spot in the semifinal round.
The Dominicans will send Samuel Deduno to the mound while the Americans will have 2012 N.L. Cy Young Award winner R.A. Dickey going for them.
