After discussing hard-hitting topics, including his daughter's sex tape, Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom, and her allegations of abuse, Michael opened up about the progress she's made in recent years.

“I enjoyed the show and most of all the discussions about how my daughter Farrah is maturing and overcoming her depression and trauma from the past….. and is demonstrating daily and living the wonderful person she really is,” Michael told Real Mr. Housewife on Wednesday. “It takes time, patience, and love to overcome her past. Let it be from past family issues or events and ‘wrongs’ done to her in the Enterainment industries.”

In response to Farrah's mom blaming him for the majority of Farrah's issues, Michael said, “Parenting, marriage, spouse-spouse relationships, child-parent relationships, extended family-child relationships are very dynamic and vary in many ways. I feel Debra and I both contributed to Farrah’s negative experiences growing up in our own ways. I’ve discussed and admitted abandoning Farrah emotionally in her teens years on previous Teen Mom OG reunion shows… But I never physically harmed her… nor have I acted out with passive-aggressive behavior.”

“In Farrah’s first book My Teenage Dream Ended she goes into detail about events that happened both positive and negative,” he added.
